Criminal Justice Prevention Regrant Initiative
Open & Accepting Applications
What the Regrant Is.
Regrants will be awarded in the amount of $7,500 with a performance period of three months from the date funds are received. During the performance period, Research and Technical Assistance Fellows will be available for a period of 12 hours over the 3-month period. This works out to roughly 60 minutes a week for a three-month period. The frequency of meetings, format, and time of each meeting will be coordinated by USC but finalized by the consultant and organization. This regrant initiative does not support intervention work in the criminal legal system.
Who We’re Looking For.
The purpose of this Regrant Initiative is to recognize, support, and expand the contributions of non-profit organizations who work in the area of criminal justice prevention. We define prevention as practice, policy, or research work that mitigates or eliminates interaction with the criminal legal system through reforms in the areas of education, economics, health, public safety, and/or environmental stewardship.
What We’re Looking For.
Regrant funds are to be utilized to expand successful aspects of your programming that are unique to your organization and to incentivize participation in research activities. We expect regrant award recipients to partner with us in sharing learnings for field-advancing research via reports and a conference.
